Tracking 2025 Inauguration-adjacent aircraft into Washington DC
With about 30 hours until Donald Trump is sworn in as 47th president of the United States, aircraft from around the world are beginning to flock in to area airports including Donald Trump's own Boeing 757 having landed earlier today at Dulles International.
There are plenty of big names slated to attend inaugural events from Mark Zuckerberg to Jeff Bezos to, obviously, Elon Musk. We're seeing some other interesting aircraft though too, so let's dive in.
B-2472 - Air China Government VIP plane carrying China's Vice-President Han Zheng. This will be the first time a senior Chinese leader will be present for a POTUS swearing in ceremony, per the BBC.
N68885 - One of Mark Zuckerberg's planes has arrived at Dulles on Saturday.
N67WV - Peter Thiel's plane arrived at neighboring BWI in Baltimore.
N631CD & N631AB - both planes belonging to the Winklevoss twins arrived at Dulles. Note that both of these planes have moved on from the area towards Long Island, NY - possibly to reposition or to pick up other people - ultimately I'm unsure why.
N108PB - Robert Woody Johnson's 2021 G650 has been seen at airports for many of Trump's rallies and events in recent months so it is no surprise that the plane is in Washington for the inauguration.
N650XF - Leon Black of Apollo Global Management flew in from New York on Saturday.
N71KR - Kid Rock who is performing at one of the inaugural events has flown in on his private jet.
N628TS - Elon Musk's plane has left Florida and is in Washington, DC
N650FJ - another plane that has been a constant force at most rallies and events is this plane owned by Tilman Fertitta. It is in Washington as of Saturday.
N1BB - Donald Bollinger
N10274 - Coca Cola
N232G - Google
N34681 - Draft Kings
N644KM - PepsiCo
N650KJ - James Zenni
N650WS - Goldman Sachs
N818SS - Hilcorp Energy/Jeffrey Hildebrand
OY-RAB - Not sure who owns this one but the plane is registered in Denmark which is in the news right now for a possible Greenland negotiation. The plane has been seen in Palm Beach International in the past month and now it is in Washington.
There are more companies and people than I've highlighted. As we get closer to the inauguration, I may add more here or make a new post to show more private aircraft that make their way to Washington.
